Balancing act-ress: Jessica Alba treats her staff to icy drinks to combat a sweltering LA day

As a working mother, Jessica Alba knows what it means to juggle.
But today the 31-year-old had to perform a balancing act after deciding to treat her team to iced tea.
Refreshingly, in more ways than one, Alba even went to collect the beverages herself.

Wearing a white vest, grey skirt and a heavy metal belt, Alba managed to cope with the heat without looking the sloppy.
The mother-of-two pepped up the look with a slick of hot pink lipstick and multicoloured nails.
The star just celebrated her daughter Haven's first birthday, she also has Honor, who is four.

The actress may have needed to celebrate her daughter's birthday early, as she has a number of film projects on the horizon, including the star-studded sequel Machete Kills, in which she will join Danny Trejo, Sofía Vergara, Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens, Charlie Sheen, and Lady Gaga.
The highly-anticipated Robert Rodriguez flick follows U.S. government recruit Machete (Trejo) battling his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer (Gibson) who's set to launch a weapon into space.
Jessica will also reprise her stripper role Nancy Callahan in the sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which will be released October 2013.
The movie, co-starring Mickey Rourke, Michael Madsen and Devon Aoki, will focus on Dwight, who plans to have his vengeance against the woman who betrayed him, Ava Lord, while Nancy is trying to cope with Hartigan's death.
Jessica will provide a voice alongside Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Paul Reubens in the animated feature Escape from Planet Earth, which will be released next February.
The adventure film centres on Astronaut Scorch Supernova, who finds himself caught in a trap when he responds to an SOS from a notoriously dangerous alien planet.
