So after a visit to a rather less sporty kind of bar, British gymnast Hannah Whelan apparently decided to try out a few acrobatic moves.
Unfortunately, however, the back of a taxi provided rather less room for manoeuvre than the 20-year-old might have been used to – leaving her tying herself in knots as she struggled to take her seat.

On Wednesday, she joined athletes drinking Ciroc vodka, cognac and an array of cocktails in a private room before needing a helping hand from fellow gymnast Beth Tweddle, who stunned in a form fitting purple dress which she teamed with a pair of peep toe sliver heels, in the taxi home.

Beth and Hannah were joined by the Great Britain's male gymnastic team members Louis Smith, Daniel Purvis and Max Whitlock who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Purvis proved to be a favourite with the ladies as he was pictured outside the club talking to brunette and a blonde.
But it was the brunette lady that seemed keen to get to know bronze medallist as she was seen stroking his face as they got lost in their conversation.
